Founded in 2019 with a mission to bring the best beers and wines from independent breweries to the thirsty residents of Footown, we provide a modern, cosy, informal atmosphere to enjoy some of the most exciting beverages from Yorkshire and beyond.

We are a dog-friendly, cat-friendly, walker-friendly and cyclist-friendly establishment! If you're visting the area to enjoy our fantastic hiking and mountain biking trails, please do call in to say hi. If your pooch is feeling thirsty, please just ask and we can put some water in a bowl for them.

It's not all beers and wines; we also have an excellent selection of gins and whiskeys. Please check our spirits menu for more details, or why not try one of our signature cocktails?

The COVID-19 pandemic is proving to be challenging for all of us, but we aim to continue to provide you with our friendly service throughout to the best of our ability.

If you've somehow found your way here without being personally directed by me & haven't realised yet, this is not a real bar - I made it up to develop this site for my portfolio.

It is, however, based upon a real bar - Barbary's in Mytholmroyd. Hopefully they won't mind me pinching some pictures from their insta. It's a nice place - you should check them out.
